In the early hours of Sunday morning Police were called by concerned revellers who had attended an illegal rave in a series of tunnels held underneath the bridges upon the sewers in Ouseburn valley, Newcastle.

The police believe at this point that a number of university students were responsible, as they have been pointed towards a Facebook event urging people to meet up at a nearby pub, then headed on into the unknown, jumping sewage canals, through derelict tunnels to find a generator powered sound & light system!
The powers that be are urging grasses for information but we say long live the party, keep the rave alive!
